Bruce Hwy reopens at M'boro after truck crash

UPDATE: THE Bruce Hwy has reopened after a truck roll-over this morning.

 

EARLIER: TRAFFIC is slowly creeping southbound on the Bruce Hwy however the area is still heavily congested.

A truck hit the Iindah Rd overpass at about 2.30am.

 

EARLIER: THE Bruce Hwy remains closed in both directions at Maryborough following a truck rollover early on Friday morning.

A police representative confirmed a truck hauling two trailers and travelling north hit the Iindah Rd overpass at about 2.30am.

The representative said it appeared the impact caused the truck, which was carrying paint and aerosol products, to roll.

The driver is said to have sustained minor injuries and emergency crews are still working to clear the road of wreckage.

Diversions may be in place. An update will be provided when more information is available.
