Bulldogs to travel away for the grand final

BROTHERS Bulldogs will be on the road next week as they look for their first grand final win in an Aussie Rules competition since 2010.

The Bundaberg side will travel to Gympie to take on the Maroochydore after the Roos defeated Hervey Bay by eight points in the preliminary final on Saturday.

After racing to a four-goal lead and keeping the Bombers scoreless, Hervey Bay responded by keeping the Roos scoreless in the second term as they led by four points at half time.

The Roos keeping the Bombers to just two goals in the second half as the side shut down the game to progress to the decider.

They will now face the Bulldogs with the QFA Wide Bay Sunshine Coast league confirming the grand final will be held at a neutral venue, half way between the two grand final sides.

The game will be held at Six Mile Oval in Gympie with the game starting at 2pm this Saturday.
