Bunnings and Hungry Jacks among Coast's worst littered spots

HUNGRY Jacks, the Bunnings Carpark and grassy stretches along Fraser Coast roads have been named and shamed as some of the worst spots for rubbish on the Fraser Coast. 

We're asked the community to have their say on the worst littered spots across the Fraser Coast.

Melissa Rowell said the hill outside Hungry Jacks was the worst she'd seen.

"Every single morning, particularly bad on the weekends but there is always brown paper bags, wrappers, napkins, drink cups, ice cream sundae cups everywhere," she said. 

Another reader said the Bunnings car near Hungry Jacks was littered badly. 

While Lonnie Taylor said she didn't know where the worst spot for litter was, she witnessed needles in the drains on Main St.

"This is most disgusting thing I've seen .. main st drains .. needles," she said.

Steve Atkinson said the worst he'd seen was between the tip entrance and the top of Spook Hill.

"Check out every grassy verge on the side of every road...this place is a disgrace," he said.

He also commented on the drive into Tin Can, saying it was 'spotless' and beautifully presented without a scrap of litter.  

Wayne Rossetto said the Esplanade car parks were littered with junk food trash.
