Burlesque girls stage a hot show

FEVER Burlesque steamed up the stage at Murphy's Bar and Liquid Lounge on Sunday night as the girls continued their tour along the coast of Queensland.

The Maryborough hotel was packed with about 50 people gathered to see the show.

There was a surprisingly high percentage of women checking out the saucy entertainment.

The crowd responded well to the show, with plenty of interaction between the performers and the locals and only one person ejected after ditching their kit and joining the girls up on stage before security intervened.

The show was raunchy with a strong dose of humour - most of it X rated.

The most entertaining parts of the show included an Austin Powers skit with some great music from the movie, songs from the movie Burlesque and a fire-breathing segment.

The show did start 40 minutes later than expected but, judging from the reactions of the crowd, it was worth the wait.
