Wide Bay candidate promises to be seen and heard

Lucy Stanton is the Labor candidate for Wide Bay

OPINION: I see a very positive future for Wide Bay. What I offer the people of Wide Bay is someone who will be seen and heard across the community.

I will be the voice of our community and truly represent people from all over Wide Bay.

This is a large and varied region that I will be totally focusing on bringing jobs, prosperity and services to the area.

Wide Bay should not be taken for granted.

I encourage voters to carefully consider which party will serve the community well and deliver for them.

A good local member should champion the community and stand up for jobs and service.

If elected that's what I'll stand for.

Labor has a positive plan to support jobs and keep the economy growing.

Kevin Rudd will deliver a stronger economy, better education for our kids, and the infrastructure we need to prosper, like an upgraded Bruce Hwy and fast affordable broadband.

I have a vision for a productive, growing and exciting region, capitalising on our great natural resources for farming, tourism and manufacturing.

If we have better infrastructure like a safe highway, fast reliable broadband, decent health and aged care, and better schools I believe we can do it all.

I will be working hard for our community to bring people together to develop this region and truly represent the people of Wide Bay.

It's a clear choice for Wide Bay residents, a vision for the future to bring jobs and prosperity or a vote to see more cuts to jobs and services.
