Car braking for kangaroo is rear-ended at Craignish

A KANGAROO triggered a traffic crash on the Hervey Bay and Burrum Heads Rd at Craignish on Saturday night.

A Hervey Bay police spokesman said a black sedan was forced to brake heavily when the animal hopped out in front of the vehicle about 6.30pm.

A white four-wheel drive ran into the sedan, causing minor damage.

There were no injuries.
