Driver fined $256 after crashing car into fence in Torquay

UPDATE: A 38-YEAR-old male driver has been fined $256 for failing to maintain proper control of his vehicle after crashing into a fence on Thursday morning.

Hervey Bay Police Sergeant Paul Jervis said the driver had crashed into a fence near the corner of Boat Harbour Dr and Denman's Camp Rd at 8am.

Sgt Jervis said the crash site was now cleared and no one had been injured.

EARLIER: A car has crashed into a fence at the corner of Boat Harbour Dr and Denmans Camp Rd in Torquay about 8.15am on Thrusday.

Hervey Bay police are at the scene and initial reports indicate there are no injuries.
