Man tells police to park properly

DANIEL Rodney Sellars will now think twice before commenting on the way police officers park their cars.

Sellars made such a comment walking past police on the Hervey Bay Esplanade on January 1.

He ended up in court charged with public nuisance, after he began swearing at the officers when they responded to his comments.

As the incident happened on New Year’s Day, Magistrate Graeme Tatnell questioned if Sellers had been “full of alcohol”.

Sellars said he was sober so Mr Tatnell told him to “change his attitude”, before fining him $400.
