Celebrating science with quiz show at M'boro Special School

NATIONAL Science Week gives Aussies the chance to celebrate science and recognise the importance of the subject in society.

The Maryborough Special School marked the occasion with a unique quiz show hosted by Dr Fumble, Dr AD HD Chaos, Professor C. Razy and a magical fairy assistant.

The interactive event was organised by the school's arts specialist teacher, Ms Rose Wright, who said the week helped students understand science was part of learning but could also be fun.

"Each year, as part of our science curriculum, we have a practical art space and science show," Ms Wright said.

"I always do something to raise the profile of science in teaching and each year I include the staff into the show."
