A BOAT is still missing after a chain was cut and it was stolen from a boat yard in Urangan's Driftwood Ct.

Police said a silver 2011 BtB Marine 5.9m dinghy with rego UR969Q was stolen between 9pm on March 19 and 5:30am on March 20.

The offender  or offenders cut a chain securing the gate and then stole the boat and trailer.

The trailer is homemade with the Queensland rego 296QVS.

The outboard motor is a black 40 horsepower, two-stroke petrol with white writing - sail make, serial number PJ111613.
