Champion horseman Guy McLean to perform at home

CHAMPION horseman Guy McLean will thrill the Fraser Coast when he brings his team of horses to Susan River Homestead on June 22.

Mr McLean's family has owned the homestead since he was a year old and he first sat on a horse aged 16 months.

For many years he ran the trail rides at the homestead and was also in charge of training horses.

Although Mr McLean wasn't a natural performer to start with, being quite shy and reserved, he has evolved into a renowned entertainer and is particularly well known in the United States.

As well as a show of great horsemanship, Mr McLean also includes bush poetry in his presentation, which is sure to entertain audiences.

The show will start at 6pm.

Tickets will cost $35 for adults, $20 for children aged between five and 14 and children under 5 are free.
