Chapman pleased with where the Fraser Coast is headed

DISCUSSIONS with Fraser Coast mayor Chris Loft and other councillors will be the first item on division eight councillor Denis Chapman's agenda.

Declared winner over incumbent councillor Robert Garland yesterday, Mr Chapman was happy with the direction the result had given.

Cr Chapman won 43% of the vote compared to Cr Garland on 26%.

"I am pleased it's all over and we know where we're heading," Cr Chapman said.

"I want to make sure the people in division eight are well represented."
