Cheap fuel? Not on the Fraser Coast

FUEL prices on the Fraser Coast remain up with some of the highest in Queensland.

According to the RACQ website, Hervey Bay's unleaded fuel is 123.1 centres per litre and diesel is 125.4 cents per litre at the bowser, making it one of the most expensive in the region.

In Queensland, a fair fuel price is 116.2 cents per litre on Thursday September 1. 

Bigger cities tend to be cheaper, with Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Gold Coast among some of the lowest prices.

Gold Coast has the cheapest average unleaded prices and Townsville has the lowest average diesel prices.
