Chloe is the face of Relay for Life fundraiser

WHEN cancer survivor Chloe Clarke moved to Hervey Bay five years ago for a fresh start, never did she imagine her struggle would inspire others.

When she was just five-years-old, a Wilms' tumour was discovered on Ms Clarke's right kidney.

After having her kidney removed and intensive chemotherapy, she underwent 12 years of remission.

Now, at just 19, Ms Clarke has been selected as this year's Face of Relay For Life, Hervey Bay, a role that will see her lead the survivors and carers lap to open Cancer Council's Relay for Life 2014.

Relay For Life will be held on October 11-12 at the Seafront Oval in Pialba.

To register, visit relayforlife.org.au or phone the Fundraising Hotline 1300 656 585.
