Church toilet block broken into and shower used overnight

SOMEONE broke into the toilet block of a church in Hervey Bay overnight Wednesday to use the shower.

It's believed the facilities were used after a hole was make in the door at the Uniting Church on Exeter St.

Acting Sergeant Richard Whatman said the door was unlocked from the inside through the hole.

The church wasn't touched.

The incident was reported to police by security at 6am Thursday.
