Clay play helps to develop language and fine motor skills

YOUNG artists on the Fraser Coast have created their own clay masterpieces as part of a regular workshop to develop language and fine motor skills.

Hervey Bay Regional Gallery's Pipis Club is open to 3 to 5-year-olds and explores a different exhibit each month.

This month, parents and children heard about exhibition Is That All There Is by ceramic artist Sam Keane before getting their hands dirty with clay.

Phone 4197 4210 to secure a spot at the next workshop. Entry is $2.70.
