The conference aims to raise the standard of child education in Indonesia as well as to provide exchange and business opportunities for local and international participants.
Dr Yim said she was honoured to be invited to speak at the conference.
“In my keynote speech I will be speaking about policy, teaching and learning issues in relation to early childhood education,” she said.
“In my second speech I will talk about utilising technologies in the classroom for effective learning.”
Dr Yim is heavily involved in research activities at USQ Fraser Coast and is also one of the organisers of the Little Skippers project run in conjunction with the Hervey Bay Regional Gallery. The program connects artists with children aged three to six.
