Colourburst challenge is one of many events on this weekend
COLOURBURST CANCER CHALLENGE
When: Saturday, 3.30pm to 6pm.
Where: Seafront Oval, Pialba.
What: The Colourburst Challenge Against Cancer will be hosted by Tea & Toasters and Hervey Bay Relay for Life. This is a colourful, fun fitness challenge to raise money for Cancer Council Queensland.
Cost: $50 per person includes shirt and bottle.
When: Saturday, 7am
Where: From Lions Park near Urangan Pier, The Esplanade, and Anzac Park's Ululah Lagoon, Cheapside St, Maryborough.
What: It's you against the clock in a 5km run.
PIER PARK COMMUNITY MARKETS
When: Saturday, 7am-1pm.
Where: Pier Park, Urangan.
What: The Pier Park Community Markets operate each Saturday. You will find plenty of market stalls, fresh fruit, vegetables and much more.
TORQUAY BEACHSIDE MARKETS
When: Saturday, 7am to 1pm.
Where: Esplanade, Torquay.
What: There is a great selection of local and imported crafts and products.
When: Saturday, 8.30am to 12.30pm.
Where: Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre, Charles St, Pialba.
What: This month's market will focus on women's health. Get advice and free health testing from health professionals. There will be fitness demonstrations and a jumping castle and face painting for children. Free food sampling and recipe books.
MUNCHIES IN THE BAY MEET & GREET CAR SHOW
When: Saturday, 1.30pm.
Where: United Servo, Eli Waters.
What: Wide Bay Car Enthusiasts are again holding their Meet and Greet Car show displaying cars from their club and others from around Hervey Bay and Maryborough region. All clubs and the public are welcome to display their pride and joy and/or come and have a look. Everyone welcome to join in on the fun. There will be food, jumping castle and coffee van. The afternoon will finish with a cruise along the Esplanade from 4pm.
Cost: Gold coin donation.
When: Sunday, 6am-noon.
Where: Kruger Court, Booral Rd, Urangan.
What: There are many bargains to be found at these iconic Hervey Bay markets. There is an abundance of stalls with fresh fruit and vegetables, bric-a-brac and more.
GUY MCLEAN SPECTACULAR
When: Sunday, 2pm to 5pm.
Where: Susan River Homestead.
What: Australia's very own world renowned horseman Guy McLean, will show you his unique style of horsemanship throughout his performance. Guy will demonstrate the methods he used to win the International World Championship of Colt starting in 2012 and 2013 in the United States of America. Enjoy Guy and his team of horses as he takes you on a journey with his exceptional liberty horses and bush poetry. Bring a chair/blanket if you like.
Cost: $35 adults, $20 per child aged five to 14.
Z-PAC COUNTRY, ROCK AND BLUES CLUB
When: Sunday, from 6pm.
Where: Z-PAC Theatre, Zephyr St, Scarness.
What: Air-conditioned, bar facilities, snacks for sale. Open to all performers, no matter what your level of musicianship or singing ability. Phone 0419 654 560 for details.

SUNDAY IN THE PARK
When: Sunday, from 9am.
Where: Queens Park, Maryborough.
What: Join Maryborough Excelsior City Band in Queens Park, Maryborough on the last Sunday of every month.
MELSA will have their miniature train rides and the replica steam train, Mary Ann will be running on the riverside track. Food stalls and train rides from 9am, band plays at 11am. Bring the family down and support local talent! Jumping castle and face painting also available on the day.
Cost: $2 per miniature train ride.
WALK WITH RAMBLERS
When: Sunday, 9.30am.
Where: Meet in the top car park at Dayman Park.
What: Join this friendly group for a social stroll out on the harbour wall, or back towards the pier and surrounding parklands. The walk will be followed by a BYO morning tea.
