Colourful way to raise money for cancer in Relay For Life

RAISING money for the Cancer Council Queensland could be as simple as raiding your wardrobe.

Staff at Boaties Warehouse in Maryborough will be dressed in their best on Friday, in a bid to "turn the town purple" and promote the coming Relay For Life on August 31.

To make a donation for Purple Power Day, order shirts or to register a team in Relay For Life, visit relayforlife.org.au or contact Tammy Sloan on 0448 356 109.

Relay For Life is an 18-hour event involving teams of up to 15 in a relay-style walk or run.

Jordan Hoffmann,8, Mitchell Schonrock, Carla Schonrock, Jason Hansen and Brady Forgacs from Boaties Warehouse are fundraising for Relay for Life.
