Conman Peter Foster still on the run loses court appeal

QUEENSLAND conman Peter Foster has had his appeal against the three year jail sentence dismissed.

The Federal Court gave the conman until Tuesday afternoon to hand himself in or advised the appeal would be stayed.

Foster has been on the run ever since last year after he was jailed for three years for contempt of court.

The ACCC commenced contempt proceedings against Foster for breaching orders related to his involvement in Sensaslim and his failure to advise franchisees of his involvement as required by law.

Foster filed the appeal without personally appearing before the court while on the run from authorities.

Warrants for his arrest and imprisonment are still in force.
