Conservation of M'boro house wins Qld Heritage Council Award
THE conservation of a former train station superintendent's house in Maryborough has won a Queensland Heritage Council Award.
Queensland Rail took out the award in a ceremony on Friday for its work to re-use the historic building.
Judges congratulated QR for its ongoing effort to conserve historic buildings.
The award was one of 27 to be awarded this year in a ceremony at Old Government House in Brisbane on Friday.
