ORGANISERS were busy weighing the spoils on Sunday afternoon from more than 1400 entrants in the annual Burrum Heads Easter Fishing Classic.

Young and old fishing enthusiasts - and those just there to enjoy the weather - took part as the event marked its 22nd year.

Burrum Heads Amateur Fishing Club's Ron Henderson thanked supporters and sponsors for keeping the competition running each year.

The competition began early on Good Friday, with the final draw and weigh-in held late on Sunday.
