Could you be Marmalade or Egg?

A MOTHER’S bittersweet love for her only daughter is at the heart of Marmalade and Egg, Z-Pac Theatre’s second production of 2010.

Auditions for the Melissa Cantwell play, a twisted tale about a faded beauty queen now married to a chicken farmer, will be held at the Hervey Bay theatre this Saturday from 2pm to 4pm.

Director Louise Fantinel is looking for aspiring actors to play the four characters, an older woman and man, and a younger woman and man.

All are welcome to the Zephyr Street stage on Saturday afternoon to take part.

Marmalade and Egg will be staged over the last three weekends of April.

Busy director Louise Fantinel is also directing Where the Cross is Made which opens at Z-Pac next month. The Eugene O’Neill drama is one of two one-act plays being staged.
