Man travels halfway around world to woo wife
MANY men say they would follow the love of their lives anywhere in the world - but not every man actually does it.
Hervey Bay's Callen White was 17 when he met Tina Koslowski while picking grapes in St George in 2011.
She was from Germany and had travelled to Australia with friends.
The two hit it off and ended up travelling to Hervey Bay together before heading to Emerald to work.
When Tina and her friends left for Bali to continue their travels, Callen knew he couldn't let the love of his life slip away.
With the help of his mum, Donna, he applied for a passport and joined her in Bali on February 13, 2012 - just in time for the two to spend Valentine's Day together.
From there they travelled to Thailand and then Germany, where Callen met and stayed with Tina's family.
He started work on a farm and remained in Germany for 13 months and the couple travelled to Austria and Poland together before Callen returned to Australia.
It wasn't long before Tina followed and the two started making plans to get married.
The two will be married on Saturday at Dundowran Beach and will live in Australia, although they will probably keep travelling, Callen said.
