Fire destroys a caravan, person treated by paramedics

FIRE engulfed and completely destroyed a caravan on the Fraser Coast.

Crews responded to reports of a caravan on fire in Bauple about 2.25pm on Wednesday.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokesman said it was not sure how the fire was started.

"By the time we got there the fire was almost put out, and was quickly put under control," the spokesman said.

"The caravan was pretty much destroyed."

One person was treated for smoke inhalation by paramedics.
