Crews protect homes and businesses from Granville blaze

FIRE crews are working to contain a blaze burning near homes in Granville.

The fire is burning on Carmen Cl and Arnaud St in Granville.

Incident controller Andy Gossin said crews were back burning to control the fire.

He said the Kinghorn Rd sawmill was threatened by the fire but is now safe.

Homes facing the fire were also threatened, but are also now safe.
