No bail after cut up claim

ALEX Owen Marshall was yesterday refused bail after a Maryborough court heard he had threatened to “cut up” his former partner.

Magistrate John Smith heard the woman had been living “in considerable fear for her life” and had received 55 phone calls and 11 text messages from the defendant on a date in September.

Marshall appeared on charges of obstructing and assaulting police officers and a breach of a court order. He was remanded in custody to a further court hearing on December 9.
