Criminals smash through business to steal generators

CRIMINALS smashed a glass sliding door and stole two generators valued at nearly $1000 from a business in Maryborough. 

Police need public help after a Maryborough auto parts supply store on Alice St was broken into around 4.50am on Monday. 

It was about this time that the offenders used an unknown object to smash the lower panel of the glass sliding front door. 

The crooks then gained entry to the business and stole two Powertec generators, red in colour valued at $450.00 each.

Maryborough police are warning anyone who may have recently purchased this type of generator from any local Facebook or websites (eg gumtree, buy/swap/sell or other), there is a possibility the property could be stolen.
