Crims break through locked security screen to steal handbag

CRIMS have managed to break through a locked security screen and steal a handbag from a Hervey Bay home. 

Police said the security screen was only locked from the inside making it easy to break through. 

A car was also broken into at the Kawungan property but nothing was reported stolen from the vehicle. 

An iPad and Acer laptop were also snatched from the house.
