Crims use clothes as shield from smashed glass in break-in

CRIMINALS used clothes from an outside line to shield themselves from broken glass when they smashed into a home in Craignish.

Thieves entered the home on Karraschs Road between 10.30am dn 2.45pm Monday and stole a lap top, prescription medication and jewellery.

Police said the value of the jewellery was yet to be determined.

Hervey Bay police are investigating the break-in.
