Big development set for Dundowran
A MULTI-MILLION dollar development could soon be coming to Dundowran.
Bob Ell, executive chairman of Leda Property Group, told the Chronicle the proposed development would combine housing, sporting fields and a licensed venue on the corner of Dundowran Rd and Pialba-Burrum Heads Rd.
It would "bring what Dundowran is missing", Mr Ell said, as well as creating much-needed wealth and jobs for the Fraser Coast economy.
He estimated the combined development would be worth about $10 million.
The Fraser Coast Regional Council is expected to vote on the proposal on Monday.
"If council gives it the tick, then we're ready to go as soon as possible," Mr Ell said.
The proposed development is a combined initiative of Leda Property Group and the Hervey Bay Boat Club.
