Anyone else having trouble with TV reception?
READER'S STORY: I don't know if other people in the Fraser Coast area are having trouble with their reception and the signal pixelating all the time - very annoying.
I have had to ring the stations to find out, then to be transferred to a technician three days later only to find out that yes, they are doing repairs and adjustments to their antennae and there is a website you can go to to find out all the relevant info about what is going on.
It would be nice if there was information out there that we, the consumers, don't have to hear from the TV stations.
We are experiencing blackouts on nearly all stations in this area recently and I had to ring them to find out - yes, we are doing adjustments to the antennae, etc.
Not good enough.
We need to know whether it is our sets, antennas or the stations.
Very frustrating when on the old analogue system there was none of this crap of loosing pixels, etc.
How about a bit of feedback to the consumers from the relevant authorities?

I have been told that there is information out there from the government to tell us what is going on - yeah, I don't think so.
Even with all the doom and gloom on the news it would be good to watch a program all the way through without it stopping at a most important time.
The same goes with the NBN rollout, no information when it will occur, if at all in the Hervey Bay area.
What a joke this is.
If we are to be expected to pay these ridiculous prices for the internet then we want to know all the facts.
I wonder if we are going to have our copper cable disconnected by Telstra and we will have to sign up to NBN by a certain date?
That has happened in other areas.
Oh give me the good old days.
