Disabled boy's charity tin stolen from supermarket

A CHARITY tin raising money for a disabled boy's family has been stolen from the checkout of a local supermarket.

The theft took place at a Bridge St, Oakey, supermarket on March 9.

The tin's label readers "Every donation goes towards a conversion for the Steele's new car to be able to transport their young son in his wheelchair".

Police did not reveal how much money was thought to be inside when it was stolen.

Police want anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers or Oakey Police Station on 4691 1020. Police report number QP1600471569 relates.
