Disaster committee for Granville to be chosen on Wednesday

THE public has been invited to attend a meeting to elect a new committee to work with the council in times of natural disasters in Granville.
The meeting will be held from 5pm to 6.30pm on Wednesday, June 26, at the Granville Hall in Cambridge St.
The purpose of the meeting is to elect a committee to work with the Fraser Coast Regional Council during future natural disaster events and to plan accordingly to ensure residents respond appropriately.
The elected body will be called the Granville Community Co-ordination Committee for Natural Disasters.
