Not much choice for voters in division 10

VOTERS in division 10 do not have much choice at this election.

Incumbent councillor George Seymour is running un-opposed in that seat.

Cr Seymour has been a councillor since 2012 and has been in charge of the heritage portfolio.

But in the Bay suburbs incumbent councillor Stuart Taylor will be challenged by several candidates.

Well known for her work at We Care 2, Jan Carlson is a formidable challenger to Cr Taylor.

Also lining up in that race is 2012 mayoral candidate Chris Couper and business owner Jeanette Maynes.

Division nine incorporates Pialba, Scarness, Torquay and Kawungan.
