Doon Villa expect the unexpected in Bargara clash

Doon Villa are expecting the unexpected when they welcome Bargara to Maryborough's Federation Park Field.

Bargara joined the Wide Bay League this year, and enjoyed a near-perfect start to their season opening game against Sunbury in the first week.

While Bargara ultimately fell 5-3, their early 2-0 lead showed they meant business.

Doon Villa coach Lachlan Kenny said his side would be prepared for the challenge, though admitted he knew little of Bargara's players and tactics.

Kenny said his Magpies would be without the services of several regular starters, but welcome back captain Jess Nowitske for the home ground game.

Kick-off is at 6pm.
