Drive-through coffee hit

DENNIS Coulson was yesterday the first customer through Queensland's only drive-through for people on mobility scooters at the launch of Hervey Bay's Toast Espresso Bar.

“It's excellent to see a Fraser Coast business taking on the needs of older folk,” Mr Coulson said.

“It's very unique and I can just hope that more local businesses follow the example.”

Owner Vince Rovere said he hoped the drive-through simplified getting the morning coffee for people who used mobility scooters or wheelchairs.

“It's going to make it so much easier for them where they just have to pull up to the window and order,” he said.
