Driver and passenger unharmed after vehicle roll-over

A DRIVER and his passenger are unharmed after the ute they were travelling in rolled off the side of the New England Highway at Cottonvale.

Police say it was likely caused when the P plate driver did not see the car in front breaking as it went to turn onto Middleton Road.

It appears the ute then swerved to miss the car, before the driver lost control and the car rolled.

Both the driver and passenger escaped without any injuries.

The driver recieved a ticket for following too closely.
