Driver more than five times over alcohol limit: police

A BEENLEIGH man will face court in Maryborough after allegedly being caught drink-driving on Saturday with a blood alcohol reading more than five times the legal limit.

Police said the 59-year-old, who has also been charged with driving while disqualified, was pulled over about 6pm on the Bruce Hwy near Maryborough.

He will face court on June 26.

Police in Hervey Bay also caught two drink-drivers on Saturday night, with one blowing a .08 blood alcohol content and one with a reading of .087.
