Drug arrests at two Fraser Coast properties

POLICE from Maryborough Station attended an address in Lennox Street where they executed a search warrant in relation to dangerous drugs suspected at the property.

Police found cannabis and drug utensils at the home.

A 32-year-old woman was questioned before her arrest and has been charged for drug offences and possession of drug utensils.

She is expected to appear in Maryborough Magistrates Court on March 17.

The arrest happened at 8am on Wednesday.

In Hervey Bay police seized a quantity of cannabis and utensils used for the consumption of cannabis.

An 18-year-old man at the address was questioned in relation to the drugs and utensils and as a result was arrested and charged for possession of a dangerous drug and possession of drug utensils. He is due to appear in the Hervey Bay Magistrates Court on March 2.

Possession of Dangerous article

A 49-year-old Hervey Bay man was arrested and charged with possession of a dangerous article, namely a credit card, knife on February 15. It was alleged that police conducted a search of the person and his belongings, and whilst searching located a knife on the person and also a credit card knife. The male person was charged with possession of a dangerous article and is due to appear in the Hervey Bay Magistrates Court in March.
