VIDEO: Elderly man freed from car after smash at Scarness

FIRE crews have used hydraulic cutters and spreaders to free an elderly driver of a vehicle involved in a two car smash on the corned of Boat Harbour Drive and Queens Road. 

Police are directing traffic heading to Urangan from Boat Harbour Drive onto Queens Rd. 

It's believed a red sedan has been t-boned.

A black Nissan Micra was involved in the crash.

Two ambulance crews are on scene and one fire crew.

Two police cars are at the crash scene. 

The crash happened just after 1pm.
