‘Emergency’ nappy run costs Maryborough driver $300

AN "EMERGENCY" nappy run has cost Maryborough man Shane Nicholas Whittaker $300.

Whittaker pleaded guilty on Wednesday to driving without a licence.

Maryborough Magistrates Court heard he was stopped on Mungar Rd at 8pm on April 25 and he told police he was on his way to collect nappies.

"It was an emergency," Whittaker said.

His licence was not disqualified.
