Everyone invited to Riding for Disabled anniversary party

HORSES, riders and volunteers from Riding for the Disabled Maryborough are celebrating their 30th anniversary and everyone is invited to the party.

The RDA team is keen to show off its skills and will be joined by Fraser Coast Wildlife (TESS) and the Maryborough Animal Refuge for a day of free fun activities on September 21 between 9am and 3pm.

A representative said the day would feature a range of displays and activities, including dog agility and obedience, whip cracking, rope making, face painting community stalls, food, refreshments and live entertainment on stage and if you have ever wondered exactly what a farrier does, this is your chance to find out.

Community groups interested in promoting their organisation via displays, stalls or demonstrations have been invited to participate.

Contact Barbara Ryan at rocka@bigpond.net.au or on 4121 3880 or 0434 644 415 or Bruce Thorpe on 4124 2876 for further information.
