UPDATE: Fire has been extinguished at Alton Downs property

UPDATE 7.28pm: A spokesperson from Queensland Fire and Emergency Services has confirmed the fire has been extinguished and will leave the scene soon. Queensland Ambulance Service have also confirmed they are still on scene.

UPDATE 6.40pm: THE latest reports from the scene indicate fire crews have gained entry to the shed and are dampening down hot spots. 

The fire is well under control. 

UPDATE 6.10pm: FURTHER reports indicate fire crews are beginning to leave the Alton Downs property. 

The extent of the damage to the shed is at this stage unclear. 

UPDATE 5.25pm: REPORTS from the scene of the fire indicate Queensland Fire and Emergency Services crews are still trying to contain the blaze. 

No one was inside the shed at the time, everyone is accounted for and reports suggest no one has been injured. 

UPDATE 4.45pm: EMERGENCY services have located the property owners. 

The property owners are on their way to the property. 

Fire crews have not arrived at the scene yet. 

BREAKING 4.40pm: QUEENSLAND Fire and Emergency Services and Queensland Police crews are racing to a structure fire at Alton Downs. 

Initial reports indicate a shed on a McKenzie Rd property is on fire and multiple explosions have been heard from inside the shed. 

Further reports from the scene indicate emergency services have not been able to locate the property owner.
