Epic backyard battle continues

IT WAS Man's Best Friend vs Wild when a two-year-old chihuahua-foxy decided to take on a bearded dragon.

The match was played out for about half an hour in a Dundowran backyard over the weekend - a gladiatorial spectacle that enthralled onlookers.

According to observers Jenny and Wyatt, this isn't the first match to be played out between the two unlikely players and it's sure not to be the last.

Ralph the dog was declared the winner of this round, with Phil the lizard turning tail and running after numerous swerves, dodges and attempts to bite Ralph on the nose.
