Farina expects more of same from Adelaide

HIS side escaped with a draw against a 10-man Brisbane Roar outfit last Friday night, but Sydney FC coach Frank Farina was still beaming yesterday from that result ahead of tonight's clash against Adelaide United at Coopers Stadium.

The Roar is tactically similar to the Reds in its quick movement in midfield and possession-based play.

Farina said having come up against that type of football last week would hold the Sky Blues in good stead.

"Having played arguably the best side in the comp and against the team that tries to play similar, I think it's most probably an advantage to us," Farina said.

He also said marquee man Alessandro Del Piero would take the field after missing the Roar match due to a back-related injury.

For the Reds, coach Josep Gombau will hope winger Fabio Ferreira can shrug off the mild concussion he suffered in last weekend's draw against Wanderers.
