Fire breaks out in empty pallets at Stockland Hervey Bay

FIREFIGHTERS were called to Stockland Shopping Centre after empty pallets in the Spotlight loading dock caught fire on Monday morning.

The fire was extinguished by staff at the store by the time firefighters arrived at about 10.30am.

It is not clear how the fire started.

The fire did not spread from the stacked pallets and no stores were evacuated due to the blaze.
