Firefighters tackling blaze on Churchill Mines Rd

CREWS are back-burning and installing fire breaks to fight a blaze burning on Churchill Mines Rd at Dundathu.

A Queensland Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said the fire had burned 50 acres and was moving in a south-westerly direction.

She said eight rural and urban crews were at the scene of the fire which was not threatening property at the moment.
