Flying foxes are topic of talk at Urangan on Thursday

ENVIRONMENTALIST John Parsons will give a free talk on flying foxes at the Urangan Community Centre on Thursday at 10am.

The morning will include a tour of the Hervey Bay Botanic Gardens to look at some visiting bat populations in the area.

Mr Parsons works regularly with the EHP and CSIRO to monitor flying foxes and other local wildlife in the Fraser Coast Region for research purposes.
