Foodworks what can they do for you from Thursday?

COLES Maryborough Plaza will close at 5pm today and reopen at 8am on Thursday as Foodworks Maryborough Central Plaza.

Centre manager Rick Hose said the reopening under a new name would be a huge accomplishment for the 30-year-old plaza, which had been undergoing multi-million dollar refurbishments over the past year.

“It will be a milestone,” Mr Hose said.

Coles Maryborough Plaza was one of 45 Coles stores that would be progressively transferred to Foodworks over the coming months.

Foodworks CEO Peter Noble said that one of the key focuses for the new team would be tailoring the Maryborough store to suit the local customer base.

“Each of our new company-owned stores will, like our existing stores, be individually tailored to the local community it operates in,” he said.

“We are looking forward to getting to know the local community to find out what they want in their local Foodworks.”
